'Perfect Couple’ Wins Their Dream Wedding in The Wellbeing Farm’s £12K Wedding Giveaway!

When The Wellbeing Farm in Edgworth, near Bolton, launched its first-ever free wedding competition, the team had no idea the buzz it would create. 
The lucky couple, Seb and Debbie Cornwall, from  had been saving for their wedding for years and planned to get married next year.
But then Debbie’s mum discovered the competition online and, after falling in love with The Wellbeing Farm on their first visit, Sen and Debbie decided to enter.
Debbie, 38, a pharmacy dispenser, and Seb, 42, a credit controller, said their big day was ‘everything we ever dreamed of’. 
Seb revealed: “It had been a tough year, especially with Debbie's Gran passing away.
“Initially, we thought it was a prank when we received the call about winning! 
“Debbie almost didn’t answer because she didn’t recognise the number.
“But once she heard the wonderful news, she ran to tell me!”Lama

From the stunning venue to exquisite food and all essential elements, everything was included, except for the drinks. 
The Wellbeing Farm’s wedding planner, Ellie Holt said: “The couple were perfect for each other. 
“From the moment they arrived, their genuine happiness was infectious. 
“There’s always a touch of nervous energy on such days, but that’s what makes them memorable and this was the first competition we had ever done, so we all wanted to create something truly unforgettable.”
The venue created the perfect, personalised experience for the couple, with the farm’s friendly llamas and Sandra the sheep captivating guests as delightful surprise.
Debbie was in a classic white dress, while Seb enjoyed a personalised ‘pull your own’ keg.
Celia Gaze, founder of the farm, said, “Our motivation for offering this free wedding was simple yet profound: to give back and to share a story that transcends mere business. 
“In recent years, countless couples have faced challenges in planning their weddings, and we wanted to provide one lucky pair with the opportunity to celebrate without the financial stress.
“Given the overwhelmingly positive response, we might just have to do it again. 
“The Wellbeing Farm holds conscious events and the wedding reflected the ethos of the farm.”
Debbie continued: “Having our family and friends there was so important to us and we had guests from New Zealand and America. 
“The Wellbeing Farm exceeded all our expectations and the joy on everyone’s faces as we shared memories and created new ones was incredible.
“Reflecting on the day, we wouldn’t change a single moment and treasure how perfect it was.
“We wanted to get married at a venue that was a bit quirky and different, and The Wellbeing Farm definitely ticked the boxes.” 
Seb added: “The animals were a tremendous hit, so many guests took photos with them.
“We aimed for our special day to be unforgettable and the presence of the animals certainly helped achieve that.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff for accommodating our last-minute requests and ensuring our guests felt welcomed and comfortable.”
“One thing we particularly liked was how the children were able to enjoy themselves. 
“It was so nice to see them playing outside in the fields, interacting with the animals and toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. 
“We felt truly spoilt with all the attention and care we received from Ellie, Abbie and the wonderful staff was amazing.
“We truly had the most perfect day and couldn’t have dreamt of a better wedding.
“The venue is a B Corp as well, which was particularly important to us.
